Born at such a time as this!
AIM ASIA is a 23-year old inter-denominational,
non-profit Christian agency, dedicated to offering
hope and help to a world in need.WHAT KEPT US GOING?
IN ONE WORD - Dreams! When AIM ASIA began as Calvary Commission India way back in 1986, we had many dreams. In fact, those were God's dreams. We were simply the instruments in carrying out the desires of His heart.
THE DREAMS WERE bigger than us. They moved us out of our boundary thinking. They identified the direction and the purpose. They promoted our interest and commitment. Those were the dreams that built our confidence to step into the unknown and the extra-ordinary at times.
THE ODDITY OF OUR DREAM
THE DREAMS LED US through some of the most inhospitable terrains, jungle pathways, and even over the high seas. The journey was often arduous but all this was to help a new tribe in need or a destitute orphan child in hunger and deprivation.
TODAY, AIM ASIA and CALVARY COMMISSION INDIA are the two sides of the same coin. Both were founded by Dr. Joab and Suchitra Lohara of East India, out of a sincere desire to help the poorest of the poor in Asia.
THE EFFECT OF THE DREAM
AS AN INDIGENOUS ministry, AIM ASIA is uniquely qualified and strategically positioned in a third world nation to use the native human resources and accomplish the work at an incredible low cost.
Where else could you engage a native volunteer for one dollar a day? Or provide a nutritious meal to a hungering child for as little as 35 cents?
THE OPPORTUNITIES WE see everywhere and the desperate situations we face every day call for a host of passion-driven friends to partner with us and strengthen our hands to serve the illiterate, the poor, the sick and the suffering in the areas where the need is most urgent.
THE DREAM PARTNERS!
WHEN WE SAY DREAMS, it is our vision, vital to the existence of the ministry. Our intent to spread scriptural holiness in the communities and to raise a godly generation by uplifting destitute children is very much a part of this dream. We are so delighted many churches and Christian agencies in the West have recognized this vision and partnered with us. Partnerships help us grow together and engage in reaching out to those who need a compassionate touch.
WE INVITE TEAMS OF young people, pastors, trainers, professional lay leaders, teachers, people in medical profession, etc. to come over and help us fulfill the dreams of our blessed Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
WE WELCOME DONATIONS of any kind. Donors may avail tax deduction facility from our partner agencies in U.S.A. Please contact us before you make out a check. Thank you for your love for the Lord and His ministry.
WE WISH GOD'S very best for you and your family.
Your Partners in Asia,
Joab & Suchitra Lohara
